Family Valentine's Dinner

Last weekend Kyden and I drove up to Utah County to celebrate Valentine's and January and February Birthdays. The weekend didn't go quite as planned but we still had fun anyway. Every year we have a candlelight Valentine's Dinner as a tradition. I love it.. Kyden was my date (We missed Kirk a lot. Too bad he had to work Saturday)
The Hosts....I love my parents. They work so hard to make sure that we have fun family traditions.
Corry raising his hand to get some more food....(I guess you had to be there)
We all hand out Valentine's to each other. We got some sweet loot!
Another tradition is to make sentences out of our conversation hearts. Some of them are really funny.
Aunt Kim taking care of the young ones so we could eat!
Krista & baby Link. I loved his face in this one
The family enjoying the food
Grandma Gerri had knee surgery last Thursday so we got to see all my aunts and my uncle. KC and KD joined us for dinner! It was so fun to have them there.
Another tradition is making our crystal goblets sing....Ahh the simple joys of traditions.
Also this last weekend I ended up in the ER with Kyden at 1:00 am Sunday morning. I'm so grateful that Kim came with me. we were there till about 4:30 am or so. Kyden has Croup...which stinks. But hopefully he will get better soon. As we were getting ready to leave Sunday... My nephew found Kyden's croup medicine and took it....so we had to call around and make sure he was okay and then get some more...We drove back Sunday night and got home around 12:30..It was quite the ordeal. But I love everyone and I am so grateful for everyone. Thanks for making this Valentine Dinner wonderful despite the setbacks!
