We hosted a Chinese New Years Party Yesterday! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find anything remotely related to Chinese New Year in Cedar City? I think I went to 8 different stores. Lucky for us Kirk had quite a few decorations from his Mission and his visits to China.

Nick & Kyden getting food ready

It is safe to say that Kyden hasn't mastered the Chopsticks yet

Here is the group enjoying the food. It was really great thanks everyone that contributed.

Here is the group. We had so much fun. We even handed out the traditional red envelopes that I painted by hand seeing as I couldn't find any in cedar :)

Ky posing with some props.

We had everyone take a picture with props here they are.

We really did have so much fun and hope to make this a yearly tradition but for now I will just leave you by saying.
May good fortune and luck be with you this year 2011, the Year of the Rabbit!

So much fun! Thanks for having us over :)
so fun happy new year...
Looks like a very fun Chinese Party. Did everyone learn how to say Happy New Year in Chinese?
I've said it once, I'll say it a million times. Themed parties are the best.
Happy Chinese New year!! You guys are always having parties!
