On Dec 9 our awesome friends Scott and Kalli. Threw a gingerbread house building party. (They have the coolest parties) There were a lot of great people there..
Not just great but super talented. Wait till you see the finished houses.
My sister Krista had the idea to use hot glue to hold the houses together instead of frosting.. Krista, thank you. You are brilliant.
Kirk and I had some serious issues with our gingerbread house. Mainly Kirk is a perfectionist and I am not. This is what we ended up with. A Taiwanese style house with a Zen garden on top.

These are the winners of the prizes.. See what I mean? Those houses are incredible. Complete with cars, snowboarders, a ski lift, icicles, a river..Seriously where do these people come up with these ideas?
All of the builders. It was seriously so much fun and Kirk and I are content to know that we just had fun.. even if ours was the worst.. lol

We went and doorbell ditched our gingerbread house on Steve and Kami's front porch... They saw us though Steve was right by the door and there was ice. When we got home we found the Tiede's gingerbread house on our step.
